We love exploring and adventuring through Central FL. There is so much to see and do. This list of outdoor sites covers areas across Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. Most of these places are FREE entry.

PICNIC ISLAND

This South Tampa park has water to swim in and playgrounds to play on.

ST. PETE PIER

Here you will find water and sand, a splashpad, beautiful scenery and lots of path to walk. Plus a really cool playground!

BAY VISTA PARK

This park is located in St. Pete. It has a playground and lots of nature to enjoy.

DOWNTOWN DUNEDIN

There’s a marina, a playground and a cute town to enjoy in Dunedin.

LETTUCE LAKE PARK

Located in Tampa, this park has so much nature to enjoy. There is also a playground and you will likely see alligators in the water at Lettuce Lake.

Just past daughter’s head on the log is an alligator.

CYPRESS POINT PARK

In Tampa there’s Cypress Point where you will find water fun, a playground and creatures in the sand.

RIVERWALK IN DOWNTOWN TAMPA

From the miles long stretch of Riverwalk, you can view all kinds of Tampa attractions.

CURTIS HIXON WATERFRONT PARK

There is always an event happening at this park located in Downtown Tampa along the Riverwalk.

ROBERT REES PARK

This beachy park is located in New Port Richey. There is a playground and sandy waters for the whole family to enjoy.

ANCLOTE RIVER PARK

Located in Holiday, this waterfront setting has a pier perfect for sitting back to catch some fish.
