FREE Holiday Activities in Tampa this Weekend

The Holiday season has arrived! There are so many events and holiday happenings around town to keep track of. Here is a listing of where you can find Santa and other festive activities happening around the bay area this weekend!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6

CITY OF TAMPA’S SANTA FEST

Our first time at this parade was in 2018. We had so much fun, I made sure we returned the next year! Jelina’s favorite part is watching the cheerleaders and dance squads. The 2025 Santa Fest will be held on December 6.

The event starts at 1PM with a parade that marches along the streets of Downtown Tampa. As the parade wraps up, Santa is carried into Curtix Hixon park where kids and families can get pictures with him for FREE!

SANTA’S WONDERLAND AT BASS PRO SHOP

The holiday production that Bass Pro puts together is unforgettable! The scenery is like stepping into a winter wonderland. The time we went there was a carousel, crafts, elves and not only could you take pictures with Santa, you could send him letters at the North pole!

WINTER VILLAGE AT CURTIS HIXON PARK

Every year for the holiday season Curtis Hixon park is decorated with festive decor. There’s colorful trees and light displays around the park for everyone to enjoy Winter Village.
